University of Cambridge and University of Zurich Research Investigates Bank Regulation and Environmental Risks

Professor Alexander is leading a new research project established to investigate whether banking regulation in its current form could actually be increasing financial sector risk by failing to take adequate account of both positive and negative environmental externatlities that affect financial stability. The research is supported through a partnership between the University of Cambridge Banking Environment Initiative and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Finance Initiative. Bloomberg is providing additional support. See more at University of Cambridge Homepage.
