The House of Lords Committee on Europe released a letter to the UK Treasury
on 11 December citing Professor Alexander's conclusions that the EU's
proposed Resolution and Recovery Directive would require the UK to provide
lesser protections to retail depositors in the event of a bank resolution. For more details, please see attached letter.
