25.04.2012 Shifted FML Lecture of 26th April
The FML lecture of 26th April 2012 is not going to be held. Instead Prof. Alexander invites his students to his inaugural lecture taking place on the 14th May 2012 at 6.15 p.m. at the Aula of the University of Zurich (Rämistrasse 71) where he is going to speak on the topic: "Law Reform and Financial Markets: the British Experience".
25.04.2012 8th AUGUR workshop
Prof. Kern Alexander is going to speak at the 8th AUGUR workshop - Challenges for Europe in the World, 2030 on 26th and 27th April 2012 in Vienna. At this congress, possible future perspectives and scenarios of the development of the European financial markets and its players will be discussed among high level experts.

Professor Alexander was invited by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) to speak at the annual UNCTAD expert meeting in Geneva on services and regulation.
Additionally, Professor Alexander has been invited to present a paper and to give a seminar at the Austrian National Bank on 30-31 March on 'European Financial Regulation Reform'.
