The Federal Commission for Women's Issues FCWI, inter alia, calls for a headscarf ban at public schools in its recently published position paper. The commission also takes a stand on full veiling and the wearing of headpieces in public space, on how to deal with religio-cultural symbols at public schools, and with requests for exemption from particular teaching modules.
